When it comes to to stinging insects, I prefer the modern way of dealing with threats (i.e. go around with the spray ready).

I wouldn’t go near the little suckers without adequate foot/leg protection. You don’t know if you’re going to run into/step into the foragers. I’ve been bitten by army ants in the tropics. OUCH! Even one hurts pretty bad. Bitten AND stung? Don’t go there! Thankfully, no fire ants here, but there ARE killer bees. BZZZT!

OMG, you folks crack me up. The comment threads for these comics are hilarious. I think I will bundle you all up and sit you on my desk. I will tell you my idea for a comic and you all can say, “That’s cute.. but here’s a better idea…” and I’ll do yours instead. HAHAHAHAHAH

JoanH: We have all that here: all kinds of ants, killer bees, wasps, scorpions, snakes, poisonous centipede things, ancient Indian burial grounds, etc. If I think about it, not only would I wear boots everywhere, but also gloves, helmets, veils, football gear, garlic…

Nah, no WWII movie, just experienced RPG veteran, both player and GM. And yes, player tend to have better ideas than the GM himself while speculating *Stuff like undead mechanoids :XD *
