Notice of Break
My Grandmother passed away this morning and I’m going to attend the funeral services. As they are in another state, this involves some preparation and traveling time so I’m delaying the comic for a short while.
If you’d like to be notified of the next new comic as soon as it is posted, please subscribe to the updates:
If you haven’t read it yet, I talk about my Grandmother on the More About Samantha page. She was so proud of my little comic.

I grieve with thee…. and yes, I *mean* that. I wasn’t at my maternal grandmother’s funeral either (up in PA), but I do have something to remember her by: an afghan she made for me. I know you’re hurting; just don’t forget to re-hydrate yourself after the tears stop. *hugs*
This goes to your family as well.
I guess you could call that a mixed blessing, not driving that far, but having to wait for the dispersal of her ashes. That I can say I know quite well.
Samantha and family, again my prayers are going out for you all to have the strength to deal with this situation, but just remember that you are all loved. God bless you all.
I was just up in Bonham, TX last week for my grandmother’s service, myself. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Grandmothers are lovely. I’m sure you’ll miss yours, as much as I miss mine.
My father, who is a preacher, conducted her service, and I think he put it best when he said that we are privileged to celebrate the death of such a one, as she just got to go home, and we’ll see her again, someday.
I hope things go well for you, and my prayers for you.
well, now I can relate even better, unfortunately. My grandma passed away on monday and the funeral is on saturday. Oh well, the way I see it is this: she was going to be stuck in the hospital till she died anyway, and she decided not to go on life support since she knew it would happen soon anyway. So it’s better to die before your in to much pain, right?

Take care, safe travels, and my condolences.
