giggle — that’s funny. I guess spells define people as human-type as opposed to furry-type.

Hi, Arlene! You have to be VERY SPECIFIC when casting spells…it’s a lot like computer programming.

I guess spell casting could be summed up with the old adage “Garbage in, garbage out”?

HAH! Yes… read back in the strip for prime examples. (My favorite being the ruby shoes incident.)

Samantha: That sound you hear is me laughing my a$$ off when I saw panel 3! And every time I relook at panel 3. That is a nice twist I wouldn’t have thought of. (Don’t forget, that cold attribute will come in handy in the summer.) Ah, yes, the Law of Unintended Consequences. There is a SF short story in which a scientist makes the ultimate keep clean house, and the house throws him out because it considers him too dirty!
By the way, there are 2 short story anthologies you might like to read: Witch Way To the Mall, edited by Esther Freisner, and Witch High, ed. by Denise Little. Excellent stories of witches and witchcraft for modern times.
Thanks again for the good laugh! :)

LOL! I was so waiting for you to come comment because as I was drawing it, I was thinking, “I KNOW this wasn’t what Joan had in mind!” and that made me giggle.

And DANG! Can you believe I didn’t think about the serendipitous summer application of this botched hex? The minute I start the inevitable complaining about the heat strips, you guys will have to nudge me and say, “What about that cuddlie thing?”

I’ll definitely look into those books. My muse sometimes deserts me at the oddest times and those will be great inspiration. I really ought to read some Erma Bombeck, too!

Tehe, at least the dog is fine with the outcome. ^^ Nice.

I just hope you can get the cuddlie BACK from the dog in the summer!

Dale: Hahahah! You got that right!

Cemalidor: I’m glad you enjoyed that!

That was soooo funny. A rather unexpected twist.

Hi, PattiT! It was kind of nice to give Gladys a punchline again. *grin*

So you can’t debug spells?

@qka: You know, I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe not “debug”.. but issue a “patch?” It seems like you should be able to issue a patch for a spell that’s gone afoul.
