Wuv, twu wuv. (said with a lisp like the priest in “Princess Bride”)

Yeah, as of lately I have been wearing my blanket, too. When all you have is two space heaters and the electric oven to heat your house, improvisation is the only way to improve things.

BTW Samantha, don’t you just *hate* to be proven wrong? ^_^

With a purple passion. (I’m wearing mine now while I color.)
Back in olden times, I had a kerosene heater my parents gave me. Those old buildings in Savannah were DRAFTY! The floor was uninsulated. That kerosene heater heated our apartment so well (and the one above us, I’m sure!).

That comic pretty much sums up Ms. Darkstar’s reaction when she got her Slanket.

I absolutely love the last panel. Such a blissful look on her face! My boyfriend got one of the (insert name of product here) last year. He spends a lot of time doing the couch potato thing in front of his living room TV. I have a fleece piece with strategically placed snaps and a front zipper. It does keep me warm, but the length is a bit too long and I have to hold it up. And if Nature calls, there are snaps to be negotiated and realigned. I think I need to mark what snaps onto where. Too bad the maker never included an instruction sheet or a map! LOL!

It certainly looks like she will start to purr any second. ^^

Thanks all!

JoanH: “there are snaps to be negotiated and realigned” made me chuckle. I had one of those and I remember getting up *VERY CAREFULLY* and leaving as much snapped as possible so I could quickly get back in my “nest” when I came back from the bathroom.

Even tho I’m hot 99% of the time, this comic makes me want to run out and get one of those blanket-with-arms just so I can get that toasty look on my face too.

A snugglie AND a doggie to warm your feet! I agree, you look like you are about to purr.

My circle of friends are starting to be divided into 2 groups: the “cool kids” who are still too hip to buy a snuggie, and the “toasties” who caved and bought one. Terrific comic!

I am LOL at you folks.

LindaTaylor: I know that you’re the “Queen of Nesting!!” I bet someone already has this on their Christmas list for you.

PattiT: Glad you noticed Gladys dog in the strip! In real life, it’s my other dog, Dosh, that shares the snugglie with me. (In fact, guess where he is now? Curled up in my snugglie without me!!)

Dgriff13: !!! I am so thrilled that you came by! I’d say Zorphbert & Fred need a snuggie but their disguises are probably warm enough. *grin* at your divided friends. I’ve put a more expensive version on my Christmas wishlist…that makes it cool, right? RIGHT?

That’s me in mine lol a cuppa in one hand my book in the other all snuggled on the sofa … even the odd summer evening (when we have summer, I’m in the UK) as my house is quite cold.

Cemalidor is right, she does look blissful and as though she is about to purrrrrr :D

Hee hee.. Stick around the cuddlie shows up again later in the strip!
