I do Thanksgiving lunch they do Christmas day with their in-laws and for Thanksgiving the in-laws have their celebration the weekend after Thanksgiving. Yes, I love that my children WANT to come. I always tell them when the meal will be ready and then I tell them if you can make it fine, if not fine, I will cook the same amount no matter what. Some years one son comes in the evening for leftovers. Yes, two are married. I am so lucky that all of my children return home for Christmas and Thanksgiving. I think I would be devastated if they didn't. We had a boisterous fun holiday with so so much to be thankful for.
