Nagging cough? LOL! Remember MAD Magazine’s “Horrifying Cliches”?
Undergoing chemo, I’m immuno-compromised and can’t get a flu shot. On the other hand, I’m home except for medical appointments and not exposed to germs. Now, I work retail, and this time of year would be a minefield of infections. I am counting my blessings for sure.
As for Patti’s cough, the last time I had flu(at age 26), my cough lasted for 6 weeks. My muscles were so sore from coughing, I had to bend over to sneeze. It basically came out as “Achoo! Ouch!” Patti, if you haven’t been to a doctor yet, please do so. You could literally do yourself an injury. Feel better!
Aja (the owner of said “Treu Magic” comic) has a rotating add place on her side. Due some circumstances i got a spot in there and since i don’t have an own side which can be advertised….
And well, at least those germs aren’t big enough to justify pulling out the tanks. ^^

JoanH: Undergoing chemo treatment to get out of working retail during cold and flu season is definitely what I’d call drastic measures! *grin* I worked in a toy store in the mall when I was in my teens. I think we should’ve gotten “hazardous duty” pay since the entire store is immuno-compromised once the sniffles start! (ditto for you teachers out there.**yeesh!!**)
