I actually do have conversations like this with my daughter. Maybe it’s not the whole family that’s weird.
Do you have ‘things’ that you say to your family and friends that they would say is typical of you? (er…keep it clean, folks!)

She’s just being “expressive,” right? On Halloween, daughter said, “Man I wish I had green hair or something.” I said, “You have purple! That ought to be good enough!” (Although the purple is pretty much faded now, though. *tee hee*)
Well, i like my natural haircolour (reddish brown nowadays, more reddish as i was younger). ^^
… maybe she should have taken priority shipping to get her wish faster done. 
I don’t know about weird, per se, but I do know about crazy sayings, as in misquotes, etc.
Remind me to tell you guys about them, that is if you’re interested.
I was wondering about the purple hair, hmmm so she really did dye it purple? I am sure it looked good on her. Something I say every time I am seeing some one off at the door “Bye, drive safe.” One day my son said, you think if you don’t say that we won’t drive safe?
LOL, she sure did get her hair purple, Patti. Not as bright as in the comic, though. It was fun!

Ceamlidor: The red has faded from my hair as well. It is more brownish or even “honey blonde” than the copper color it once was. Every now and then, the sun will hit it just right. I’ll call myself a redhead anyway, even though you can’t always count on that light. HAHAH
Reminds me on that SF who claimed that normal people shared ancestors with the apes while the red haired shared their with the cats. ^^ Well, at least fine with me.
Cemalidor: I like that. I am a redhead, too. I also am a cat lover (no offense to dog lovers, I like dogs too, just cats more). Can I borrow/steal that quote from you? Do you remember who said it originally?
No sweat. ^^ The author would be Robert A. Heinlien. About which novel it was i’m not sure, it might be ‘The Cat Who Walks Through Walls’.
