Good Stuff

Yes, I did try to buy only candy I don’t like to give out.  I’m terrible about munching from the bin when passing out candy on Halloween.  Unfortunately, the mix of candy I bought includes two kinds of candy for which my resistance is lowest: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (a/k/a Nature’s Most Perfect Food) and Butterfingers.  I honestly didn’t intend to bring those home.  If there were also Kit Kat and Nestle’s Crunch, I’d just have to go buy something else for the trick-or-treaters as I’d be totally undone.

Is there a type of candy that you can’t resist?  Is there some other kind of goodie that rocks your socks?

I’m trying out this new Gravatar thing. It’s supposed to make it where my icon will show up.

This is Seshiru.

And as for the comic, I think that’s the way you SHOULD do it. Get the candy you DON’T like to give out.

BTW, Check your offlines on ICQ, I left you some interesting info and links.

One last test. If it shows this way, I’ll do it this way instead.

One more test. *Hides and quits*

Looks good! I can see your Dragon! Checking ICQ now. (I don’t usually turn it on over the weekend.)

^^ Didn’t use ICq since years, so it wasn’t installed after getting a new PC some time ago.

Ome might wonder why she wont give out that bowl… :whsitles:

You ask if there is a candy I *can’t* resist? It’s easier to tell you what I *can* resist! XD

Don’t like raisins, marshmallows (unless toasted and put into s’mores), and anything made of dark chocolate. Everything else, beware! Chocoholic on the loose!

For me I think it would be Mallow Cups. I am not even sure if they are available every where.

Cemalidor: HAHAH! You’re on the right track with Witchy’s candy bowl (a/k/a her ’stash’). As for ICQ, I still like it, though I think it is not as nice as it once was now that AOL ruined it.

Dale: ROFL! You are a major chocoholic! I wish I liked dark chocolate, but it is a bit too bitter for me. Of course, they say dark chocolate can be beneficial healthwise. (Why is it i can’t stand the tastes of anything remotely healthy?!)

Hi, Patti! I had to look up what those were. Here’s what I found: Mallo Cups. Oh yeah…I want.

You about named all my favorites Sam. Hey, do you remember the Hershey’s frosting we used to make for the cakes? You and I used to go nuts over that. I know you remember what a chocoholic I used to be, then as I got older I just didn’t crave it anymore. Well that’s all changed since the surgery on my pancreas. Now I can’t go to bed at night before I have a bowl of chocolate fudge ice cream with Hershey’s syrup on top. YUM!!!

Not ’stash’, more like ‘emergency reserve’.

Hi, Kat! Glad you stopped by and YUM on that Hershey’s frosting! (That’s the frosting recipe on the Hershey’s Cocoa box, folks. YUMMERS!) Here’s something you should try: One of my readers gave me a recipe recently that has become a fast favorite here: JoanH’s Mocha Frosting.

Oh, Cemalidor. I’m just an open book to you, aren’t I?

I bought a bag of KItKat bars, figuring that would be safest for me if any were left over(they weren’t). The trick-or-treaters saw to that. Butterfingers or M&Ms would be too dangerous to have in the house! BTW, I love dark chocolate. My usual is Lindt 70%. Nice and dark with the right amount of sweet. Once in a while, I’ll have a bite of 88%. Any darker, and you might as well be eating pure cocoa powder, although it can get rather messy. Cocoa dust coats everything around you. Any baker knows. The previous is a joke, so please don’t try this at home! And if you haven’t tried the recipe for MOCHA FROSTING I posted here a few months ago, please go the link right above in Samantha’s post. It is a family favorite recipe of many years, and it is so good you will want to eat it by the spoonful. Now, if I could just can it and get it into unsuspecting–I mean customers’ hands….

Hi, JoanH!! How are you doing? You don’t need to convince me about the cocoa powder. I’ve dropped/knocked over/spilled those little containers PLENTY of times!

Hubby is like you with the dark chocolate. I used to be an M&M fanatic, but they’ve changed chocolate in the last 5-10 years or so…or my taste buds have changed. Now the only way I really like them is in my popcorn! (Though Peanut M&Ms still make me drool.)

*hides his own ’strategic reserves’, looking innocently*
