Werekitty: LOL! I didn't know there was a distinction! In Floyd's case, I am sure he's a little of both. In Bill's case... probably the same, but a bit more geeky than nerdy.

Geek is a term for people who have interest in fantasy and Sci-Fi stuff like D&D or Star Wars. Nerd is someone like Dilbert. Really smart, but no social skills. And also sort of an idiot.

I should know. I'm in high school. And 2 of my 3 brothers are geeks. And so am I!

LOL at BF's nerdy way of saying you complete him and *double chuckle* at hoping no math geeks are watching.

The way BF said it was MUCH better than, "You're the biggest wedge in my pie chart."

Oops! The term is actually "explemental", not "supplemental". It was missing a whole 180 degrees! Hopes there's no math geeks watching, ;)

When I first met my boyfriend, it was at a local Mensa group, which was meeting in the store where I was working. After attending a number of meetings, he offered to drive me there. I accepted. As we were heading toward the main road, he asked for directions. I started giving him all the directions, he started yelling, "Stop, stop, stop!" I discovered later he can only process so many directions at a time. I thought, "Well, I can never be friends with this person." Months later, he commented to me that our relationship was supplemental. In math terms, it is 2 angles that make up 360 degrees. In other words, he was saying, "You complete me." Awww! It is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me.
Thanks to everyone for the positive comments. The side effects haven't been TOO horrible, but it's been no picnic, either. My life feels off-kilter.I don't know when I'll make it back to work.
Dale, thank you for your offer. I accept. If someone wants to put in a good word for me, I don't care what their religion may be. It is certainly the thought that counts here. And I offer condolences on your wife's passing. My mother died nearly 2 years ago, and it still gets me from time to time.
