Waving Bye to our Money

Waving Bye to our Money

Who knew public schools were so expensive? Add that to the regular bills, monthly emergencies (you know, that random crisis that strikes just when you have a little pocket money)…Holy smokes! Mr. Wonderful says he feels like money is shooting out his blow hole. I have no idea what that specifically means, but I get the idea. That was the inspiration for this entry in the Real Life’s a Witch journal comic series.

Oh no! You drew me with a Mullet!! LOL

The Sugar Ninjas book came out really great, even better than I hoped!

I’ll fix the picture later. *contemplates including bald spot*

Since I work in retail, I’ve noticed this too.

Certain schools are even having kids in 5th grade buy their own jump drives.

And they’re asking alot.

It’s I guess due to the recession?

But, alot of parents are complaining about this.

Sometimes I am very glad I don’t have kids.

My kids not even in school and she’s chewing up my wallet… I fear the education process :S

Also glad to see you back up and running :)

Sheshiru: Oh that’s right! I had forgotten you worked retail. Man, I bet you can just stand in the middle of the store and listen to my post nearly word for word from the parents passing by! HAHAHA

Dale: HAH! I complain, but I don’t recall it being any better w/o them. *grin*

JohnDoe: *chuckle* It’s scarier when you’re looking at it coming up. When you’re in the middle of it, the frustration cannot be measured.

BTW: This is apparently a month with TWO emergencies. This afternoon, Husband nursed the car home from picking up kidlets. It seems the clutch blew out or whatever clutches do that require them to be FRIGGIN’ REPLACED!!! ARRRRGH!!!

We just took in a foster kid last week, and he’s in kindergarten… so I think I know what we’re in for now. O_O

I hope you can still make it to DWEX!

Hi, Tom! I’ve decided to buy a table anyway, COME WHAT MAY! I’m very excited.
