Meet Elmo, the Emo Emu
Greetings Friends and Fans! I have a few items to share this week:
1. The Aiptek sorta works with windows Vista. I am going to attempt to make the comics using Manga Studio and my Aiptek. Watch for comics to come soon. 2. THANK YOU for your kind emails and your Ts & Ps (thoughts and prayers). I have passed them on and they are most welcomed by the family right now. My husband’s sister, Kathy Cochran of Spirit Lyric, has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, which is a particularly nasty diagnosis. She will be undergoing a delicate and complicated surgery on August 31st (the “Whipple” procedure, actually). We will know a bit more after the surgery. She will be monitored closely during her recovery not only to see if the cancer is spreading, but also to watch for serious complications which arise as a result of the surgery.
3. The release of Metroid Prime Trilogy has been very exciting for our family. Here is a video tour of husband’s workplace, Retro Studios, and brief interviews with the Prez, the Producer, and Michael! (Michael is the one in the burgundy red shirt. *grin*)
(P.S.: At the very end of the video, you will see that it is dedicated to Mark Haigh-Hutchinson. He brilliantly programmed the camera in the Metroid Prime games. He died of Pancreatic Cancer in 2008.)
