Wednesday Questions
Holy smokes! I actually got some questions this week! Every Wednesday, I will post questions and answers for you about anything! Have a question? Send it to samantha (at) witchytech (dot) com.
Q: Tina has wings but we’ve never seen her fly! CAN she fly?
A: Tina, like all fairies and pixies, can fly. She can’t fly any faster than she can walk or run, though. She also can’t fly very high, maybe to the roof of a house or so…flying is very tiring.
Q: Does your daughter really have purple hair?
A: It’s more of a magenta…it’s fading now, but here is a picture taken soon after the do was done.
NOW HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS FOR YOU
- Do you have a set bedtime? Or do you just decide you need to be abed by a certain time and go then? Or do you wait until you are tired?
- If you suddenly had the money to buy one thing that would make your life a bit easier, what would you buy?
- What is the best present you ever opened… the one that stands out in your mind from childhood?
- I need ideas for fun ways to get more exercise. What do you do to “move around” a bit more? Any suggestions for someone who LIKES sitting on her rear in front of the computer?
Please post your answers in the comment thread! And be sure to send me any questions (or question ideas!) for next week!

1. Do you have a set bedtime? Or do you just decide you need to be abed by a certain time and go then? Or do you wait until you are tired?
I used to have a set bedtime but that has thrown out the window for a busy workload, I now go to sleep when I comatose.
2. If you suddenly had the money to buy one thing that would make your life a bit easier, what would you buy?
Hmmmm this ones hard, I’d guess and actual studio (instead of the tiny flat which I now pretend is one) so that I might actually extend the business.
3. What is the best present you ever opened… the one that stands out in your mind from childhood?
Hand down, its when I got a SEGA mega drive for christmas, its was the first console that was really mine and I have such good memories of playing Sonic the Hedgehog with my family that day. Its probably what has turned into such a game critic (I’m just constantly searching for that gaming high again)

Well I don’t think I’m much help here (as I run as my exercise of choice), but one thing I think is great fun as an excercise is hill-climbing (or gorge-walking) with friends that can be a blast.
1. No set bedtime, but it averages out to 11:00 p.m. – after the evening movie finishes.
2. Hmm… this is a hard one. For the most part, my life is easy enough, and the difficulties I have aren’t able to be eased by merchandise.
3. I can honestly say that I have never gotten a present that has had that sort of impact. Nothing has burned itself into my (somewhat unreliable) memory.
4. I don’t know if you can get them over there, but here in Japan where I live they have these machines which you sit on, that simulate riding a horse. Think small rodeo machine, without the wild bucking and twisting, just a nice gentle canter. Park yourself on that in front of the computer, and even while you’re working/surfing/playing, you’ll be exercising!
The movement might play a bit of havoc with the fine-precision work, though.
* Do you have a set bedtime? Or do you just decide you need to be abed by a certain time and go then? Or do you wait until you are tired?
–I’m always tired, so if I waited ’til then, I’d be asleep right now.
I try to go to bed around 11 nightly, but lately, with my comic challenge, I’m lucky to be in bed by 12.
* If you suddenly had the money to buy one thing that would make your life a bit easier, what would you buy?
–I’d invest the money and live off the dividends while drawing comics ![]()

–Phoo! That’s a tough one. Well, he wasn’t wrapped, per se, but I’d say our son felt like a real gift to my wife and me.

–At the very least, I try to take morning walks, before it gets too hot and too busy in the outside world. I had a friend who liked his evening TV, and plunked an exercise bike down in front of it, guaranteeing an hour to two hours of aerobic workout every night. Of course, my child’s still a toddler, so that by itself may be exercise enough.

I am (usually) a night owl. I got to bed when my eyes won’t stay open any longer. That’s not always a good thing for me, but that’s how it seems to work.
2. If you suddenly had the money to buy one thing that would make your life a bit easier, what would you buy?
A new, younger body, preferably the same gender, please.
3. What is the best present you ever opened… the one that stands out in your mind from childhood?
A percussion set (bongo drums, woodblock, rattles, etc.) because if it weren’t for that, I would have never discovered my music talent.
4. I need ideas for fun ways to get more exercise. What do you do to “move around” a bit more? Any suggestions for someone who LIKES sitting on her rear in front of the computer?
Well, there’s always fidgitting, but if you want exercise, you need a stationary bike, better a recumbent bike with a computerized setting and a flat surface to use as a desk top for the computer desktop. Problem solved. Pedal away the fat while surfing the internet!
