My former brother-in-law shaved off his beard when my niece(his daughter) was a few years old. She started crying when she saw him, until he put his hand over his face to show her he was still daddy.
I’m glad you liked my post the other day. And I must say, cartoon Bill looks hot! I hope the real one is, too. Yes, I do have a boyfriend, but as one of my friends put it: You can window shop, as long as you don’t finger the merchandise!

Also, you and Brother-in-law will find next Tuesday’s strip familiar! The same thing happened to my husband when my daughter was 2.
The first time my eventually-to-be wife saw me without my beard, she refused to acknowledge who I was until I showed my driver’s license!
At that time, we were just working together, she the office manager, I the lowly-but-important gofer.
I nearly didn’t get paid that week. My boss had the only quasi-positive comment about it: “Good going Dale, you look clean.”
