Thanks, Dale! As you can see, I was afraid people wouldn’t know a chalupa from a chupacabra and totally not “get” this strip.

I didn’t know what a chalupa is, but I certainly knew what a chupacabra is!

And I’m glad I finally found this comic again. You left ComicGenesis almost a year ago and switched to another site, and then that site simply disappeared into thin air… and then I found a link here from CotC.

Celtic Minstrel: Hooray! I’m glad you found us! I had a hard time getting set up again after leaving ComicGenesis for my own hosting. I will make my banner there more obvious so other lost fans can find their way. (Bless CotC’s kitty heart for the link. Owe them big time!)

I hope you catch up on all the strips you missed. We’re down to only 2 times a week updates (Tues and Thurs), but hope to go back to the 5x a week comic you enjoyed on CG as soon as possible.

I remember this from Twitter, too. It was funny then and funny here! Just a quick tip on the word balloons, which I just found out for myself. If you are using a stroke effect in Photoshop, if you change the type of stroke to “inside”, you will get a super sharp tail on your word balloons. It also makes them thinner though, so you have to adjust until you get the look you want – not sure if that is how you are creating them, but if so, wanted to share this discovery.

It is! I just googled it when I read your post. Chalupa, the boat. Thanks for that, Xero! (This strip must have been totally weird to those that know “chalupa” as a boat instead of a menu item.)

I’m honored to be welcomed. ^^ Even being some kind of geek/nerd. I don’t play WoW, but Final Fantasy XI and City of Heroes/Villians, so i know addictive this stuff can be.
