Thank you to everyone who dropped by to keep me company on the live video stream for this strip!
Yes, this actually happened to me… The ladies at the nail salon have voices as petite as they are when talking to customers, but holler like fishwives to each other whether they’re servicing a customer or not! With NO warning whatsoever…It makes your heart leap out of your chest.. especially when you are straining your ears for any clue as to what they are asking you. I do a lot of smiling and nodding…who knows what I am agreeing to, really!

Ah but as a mother (making an assumption) are you not supposed to have hearing capable of detecting the lid on the cookie jar moving at the distance of the farthest room from it?
HAHAHAHahahah! You’re right! I should have turned on the Mom-dar Supersonic Hearing! (Or maybe my cookies have to be in danger for that to kick in…)
