Judging from that third panel, either Zelda is surprised that the “key” is a key to a shed or maybe she knows something about the key herself? Either way, she looks shocked.

Gladys really does that to people, tho.. you’re sitting there, minding your own business and suddenly you feel a cold nose nudging your back. If your shirt has hiked up a bit and bare skin exposed, you’re *really* startled!
