Artificial Memories
No, seriously! That is the Christmas tree of my childhood. It was shiny aluminium and the stand (which really did play “Silent Night”) rotated the entire tree around. So the tree would rotate around in its stand, and the light from the spotlight would change colors as the shade rotated around the light, coloring the tree and the entire room red, blue, green and yellow.
When I first described that tree to my husband, he thought that was the ugliest Christmas tree he’d ever heard about.. and now they’re coming back in style! I mentioned this tree to my SIL and she said that those are hot items on eBay…especially if you have the gel light to go with it.
A couple of years ago, I asked my mom what happened to that tree. She said my sister had it, but sister denied she ever got it. So maybe my brother got it (mom was always getting us mixed up)?
Do you have any holiday memories that your friends or inlaws think are weird?

Hi, Witchy. Yeah it’s me and I’m lost again, so this will have to serve.
I think it was Thursday after I enjoyed and hooted over the latest episode. I found a comment request where you asked your readers’ preferences as to the format of the strips at the beginning or at present.
I definitely prefer the more relaxed, less formal form you’re using now. No contest. This goes not only for the frameless format, but the characters’ expressions, gestures, dialogue, etc as well.
Keep up the great job, Witchy, and increase the number of strips when you can.
