Casual Notice ME!
I’m helping out a fellow comicker once again this week. This is my first attempt at a long-form comic page and I think it turned out rather well. I was provided a script for the page by B. Hainly for his comic CASUAL NOTICE. He’s doing an interesting thing by providing scripts for pages to several cartoonists. The story stays consistent, but the art changes from page to page. Life’s a Witch readers will like the magic-things-in-real-world theme throughout Casual Notice. A teacher marries a fairy, they are gifted with a baby dragon by the fairy’s father as a wedding gift, and worse.. the inlaws move in down the street. Aside from that, there are co-worker issues, friends from magical world issues and a really clever story, parts of which I may steal for Life’s a Witch because it is such a good idea.
I would rate this comic “PG” for adult themes throughout, but nothing too shocking. Be sure to check out Casual Notice!
